GamesBeat reported the Q1 2027 PC window drawing from four anonymous sources. Neither Rockstar nor its parent company Take-Two has confirmed or denied the information.
Console Launch and Historical Precedent
The console versions are scheduled for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. Earlier Rockstar games such as GTA 5 reached PC nearly two years after consoles, so an early 2027 PC version would represent a notably shorter delay.
Multiplayer Timing and Executive Remarks
The PC release could coincide with GTA 6's multiplayer component, which Twitch CEO Dan Clancy previously described as launching the following year. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has repeatedly stated that Rockstar prioritizes consoles to serve its core audience first, noting in May that the company is judged by how well it serves those players before expanding elsewhere. Zelnick has also observed that the industry is shifting toward PC platforms.
