Microsoft has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will not stream to PC via Xbox Cloud Gaming. The statement follows an earlier report claiming exclusive streaming rights for the title. PC players must wait for a native release rather than using cloud access at console launch.
Xbox Executive Addresses Misreporting
“While the excitement for GTA 6 and Xbox is great to see, it has also led to some misreporting. We are looking forward to launching GTA 6 on Xbox November 19, though the game will not be streaming exclusively or to PC.”
Background on Earlier Claims
The clarification responds to a Verge report that cited sources claiming Microsoft had secured exclusive game-streaming rights for GTA 6.
