Unannounced Trailer Release
The trailer appeared suddenly on all Rockstar social channels at 2pm BST on October 15 with no prior notice. It runs 90 seconds and shows footage recorded entirely on a standard PlayStation 5. The November 19 release date appears again at the end of the video.
Justice Soundtrack Single
Electronic duo Justice, who composed the original GTA VI score, supplied new music for the trailer. Their standalone single Flower in a Hurricane includes contributions from Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The track will appear on the official GTA VI soundtrack album, which is available for pre-save on streaming platforms and for pre-order on vinyl or CD.
Story Tease and Side Updates
“Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
Separate reports indicate that a partial ending leak has emerged and that Rockstar has explained the game’s new sweat system.
