Rockstar revealed the $400 Vice City Collection Collector's Set featuring several premium items, most notably a pair of custom Oakley sunglasses whose retail value often reaches $150 to $200. Fans quickly expressed disappointment that the package omits any version of the game and carries a higher price than previous Rockstar collector's offerings.

Comparisons to Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 Editions
Red Dead Redemption 2 received a $100 collector's box without the game that contained multiple in-game replicas and trinkets, which some players viewed as more reasonably priced and thematically connected. GTA 5 offered a $79.99 edition that included the game, a steelbook, and a physical map, along with a larger $150 version that added a snapback hat and security deposit bag.

GTA 6 Ultimate Edition and Physical Release Details
Rockstar is also offering a $100 Ultimate Edition that supplies extensive digital content but no steelbook, disc, or physical extras. A physical edition of GTA 6, which contains a code rather than a disc, is scheduled to reach stores on November 12 to allow pre-loading ahead of the game's launch the following week.
