This Las Venturas 'cathedral' fooled players for years — but the biggest lie was hiding in plain sight.
The Blackfield Chapel is actually modeled after Las Vegas's Guardian Angel Cathedral, which wasn't granted cathedral status until 1995 — two years AFTER San Andreas is set in 1992. So the in-game 'cathedral' is technically a church pretending to be something it couldn't legally be yet.
