Email Request and Unexpected Delivery
The fan, identified as Reddit user aogustoo, described sending a message expressing excitement for GTA VI and asking for a poster to display at home. An executive responded and arranged shipment of an official poster directly from the company's New York office to the recipient's address in Brazil.
Reddit Post and Privacy Measures
Images of the poster and the email exchange were posted on Reddit. The user blurred personal details and urged others not to contact Rockstar with similar requests, describing the event as a rare act of kindness from someone on the team.
Community Response
“This is a massive W tho. This guy isn’t an influencer or someone famous, literally just a random Rockstar fan.”
The post has been viewed as a positive moment during the countdown to the November 19 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, though some observers note the authenticity of the exchange cannot be confirmed.
