A horror movie demon was rumored to haunt Tommy Vercetti's own basement — one year before the film even came out.
Players spread rumors that Henrietta's Demon from Evil Dead II lurked in the Vercetti Estate cellar, despite the fact that GTA Vice City is set in 1986 and the movie wasn't released until 1987. No actual Easter eggs connecting to the Evil Dead franchise have ever been found in the game.
