The underwater skeletons in Vice City were completely faked — here's how players pulled it off.

The 'Underwater Skeletons' myth in GTA Vice City was entirely fabricated by players using 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation to create convincing fake videos of skeletons in cement shoes at the ocean floor. The hoax grew out of fan fiction inspired by the real 'Cement Shoe Men' Easter egg, but no actual skeletons exist in the game files.
