Rockstar hid a real Ghostbusters gadget in GTA 5 — and you can actually use it.

The 'Extraterrestrial Device' that appears in two Strangers and Freaks missions is directly modeled after the P.K.E. Meter from the Ghostbusters films, down to the T-shaped antenna and moving sensor wings. The only time players can actually hold and use it is during the Epsilon Cult mission 'Chasing the Truth,' where it absurdly identifies random junk — culminating in an old boot — as alien artifacts.
