Fans refused to believe Vic Vance really died in Vice City — and Rockstar had to step in.
After Vic Vance was killed during the 1986 ambush, fans invented elaborate theories that he survived, including claims that the victim was actually his brother Pete or an impostor with a different accent. Rockstar eventually had to officially confirm that Vic was definitively dead.
