Bogue's Unsuccessful Audition Campaign
Bogue told an Instagram contact that he pursued every size of part in the game but never received a single response or rejection. He described feeling disappointed after investing significant effort into the process and speculated that Rockstar might avoid reusing performers.
“I must've auditioned for over 60 characters. Some were big, some were small. I didn't care. I just wanted to be in it.”
Prior Roles Across Rockstar Titles
Bogue previously portrayed Red Harlow in Red Dead Revolver, Troy in The Ballad of Gay Tony, and Steve Haines in GTA 5. Other GTA 5 cast members have returned for small parts or GTA Online updates, though the studio has sometimes removed lines to prevent player distraction.
Past Actor Disputes at Rockstar
Earlier tensions include Michael Hollick's complaints over low pay for Niko Bellic in GTA 4 and Ray Liotta's remarks on compensation for Vice City. More recent performers have spoken positively about their experiences, suggesting relations have improved over time.
