Launch Physical Edition Format
Rockstar confirmed that the initial GTA VI physical copies will ship as a code in a box, allowing early case pickup for preload but without a disc inside.
“Generally speaking, the release with the code will be a one-shot, and the option for a disc release will follow.”
Rockstar's pre-order page notes the code edition is available while supplies last.
Reported December Disc Version
Graczdari states that a disc version of GTA VI is scheduled to appear in December after the first batch of code-in-box units sells out.
The leaker indicates no further code editions will be produced once initial stock is gone.
