Expanded Audio Options Beyond Vehicles
Rockstar confirmed that both radio and podcasts will be accessible in cars and while walking via headphones or earbuds connected to in-game smartphones. The studio described the podcasts as a first for the series, allowing characters Jason and Lucia to hear on-demand shows outside Leonida's broadcast radio.
Six New Stations With Celebrity Hosts
The announced stations include Cocoteo FM hosted by Bad Bunny and RaiNao, Back Country Radio with Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen, and AfroBank FM featuring Burna Boy. Additional channels are The Chamber 106.6 with Kerry King and Tom Araya, Flash FM with Robyn and Alex Consani, and Dirty South Classics hosted by Trina and Trick Daddy.
Timing With Leaks and Ongoing Legal Matters
The announcement arrived alongside fresh leaked footage from CyberLeek that reportedly shows nudity, dirt-biking sequences, and a developer menu. GTA 6 remains scheduled for release on 19 November while Rockstar faces an employment tribunal case in Scotland over alleged union-busting claims.
