A new report indicates Rockstar has yet to identify the party behind recent GTA 6 gameplay leaks or determine how the breach occurred. The company is not changing its marketing plans, including a planned Netflix reveal on August 27.
Rockstar Memo and Past Precedent
According to GameSpot, a top Rockstar executive sent staff a memo denouncing the leaker and assuring the incident would not detract from their work. Rockstar previously adjusted plans after the 2023 trailer leak by releasing it early, though the current leaks, linked to memecoin promotion, will not prompt similar changes.
