Buyers Advised Against Cross-Border Orders
Players in the UK are cautioned against ordering cheaper physical copies from other European countries because the codes may not activate. The game already carries a lower price in the UK than in many neighboring markets. European Union rules prohibit geo-blocking of game codes inside the European Economic Area, though the current warnings have not been confirmed as errors.
No-Disc Format Alters Ownership and Release
The physical edition ships with a code instead of a disc, preventing resale or lending and binding the game to the purchaser's account. The format also reduces the risk of early leaked copies and allows simultaneous midnight launches in every region.
