According to RockstarINTEL, The Hollywood Reporter obtained information from a source close to Rockstar stating there are no plans to print Grand Theft Auto VI discs at launch or later. The report emerged after a Rockstar Support email circulated on social media and was misinterpreted by fans as confirmation of future physical copies.
Support Email Adds to Confusion
The email in question told customers that current preorders were for a digital update while promising a physical copy in following months. RockstarINTEL notes that Rockstar Support has a history of inaccurate statements and lacks insight into Take-Two's broader release strategy.
