Rockstar Games has reacted to ongoing GTA 6 leaks from the 2022 hack, with a top developer calling the intrusion weirdly invasive. Bloomberg published the comments the same day a new gameplay leak appeared online. The alleged hacker faces court days before release, while the studio may review its office-only work policy afterward.
Developer Reactions and Policy Changes
According to GameSpot, Rockstar North's Aaron Garbut said the leaks feel like somebody wading through personal items and seeing early work never meant for public view.
“It feels like somebody’s wading through your dirty washing. It’s really weirdly invasive. And so it’s quite hard to deal with on an emotional level.”
