For GTA 4, box art appeared November 28 2007 while the third trailer followed on December 6. Applying the same spacing to GTA 6 places any new material in early July.
Inconsistent Release Cadence Across Rockstar Games
Trailer gaps for GTA 5 were 378 days between the first and second releases and 168 days between the second and third. GTA 6 has already exceeded those intervals. Red Dead Redemption 2 took a different route, issuing its third trailer a month before preorders opened, showing Rockstar varies its approach by title.
