Red Dead Redemption 2 keeps selling roughly one million copies each month, removing any immediate need for a next-gen release. Nate speculated that a GTA 6 delay might have prompted an earlier RDR2 update to bridge the gap, but the absence of such a delay allows Rockstar to hold the ports. The timing could position a refreshed RDR2 between GTA 6 and any future GTA Online iteration.
