Some retailers are refusing to carry GTA 6's physical release because it will contain only a digital code. Retailer Statements on Code-Only Releases
Video Games Plus, a Toronto-based retailer with one physical store in Ontario, announced it will not offer GTA 6 because the product contains only a digital code. The company said it would be pleased to carry the game if Rockstar releases it on disc and stressed that the decision does not reflect on the game itself.
“We have tremendous respect for Rockstar Games and the incredible achievement that Grand Theft Auto 6 represents.”
