Completing one gang mission can permanently break your entire new save file.

In the original PS2 and Xbox versions of GTA III, if you start a new game on a memory card that already has the mission 'Rumble' completed, the Purple Nines gang will never spawn again due to a programming oversight. This makes it impossible to complete 'Uzi Money' and all subsequent D-Ice missions, permanently locking 100% completion on that new save.
