According to a December 2023 leak of GTA V's source code, Bay City Avenue was originally split into three separate streets: 'Jellyfish Avenue' in the north, 'Coney Boulevard/Coney Main Street' in the middle, and 'English Harbor Road' in the south — suggesting Rockstar nearly gave this major thoroughfare a completely different identity.
