Subpoena Filing and Discord Response
Take-Two filed subpoenas in federal court targeting Discord and Microsoft for data on users in servers where GTA 6 material circulated, but Discord marketing director Ryan K. Rigney stated on X that the company has not been formally served.
“Discord has not yet been served with a subpoena from Take-Two. When we do, we'll evaluate the validity and scope before responding.”
Companies are not obligated to respond until a subpoena is served, separating the filing from any immediate data handover.
Requested User Data and Affected Servers

The request covers registration details, IP addresses, phone numbers, linked accounts and device identifiers for all members of servers including Ødyssey.gg, ! Odyssey and DarkViperAU dating back to June 1, potentially impacting hundreds of thousands of users.
Rockstar has not yet identified the source of the breach or how the material was obtained, according to reports cited in the filing.
Microsoft Cooperation and Recent Leaks
Microsoft received a parallel request for OneDrive storage data and linked Xbox accounts, with Xbox CTO Scott Van Vliet confirming cooperation to protect intellectual property.
Leaked material over recent days included carjacking mechanics, a six-star wanted level, nighttime driving, NPC behavior, police pursuits and the complete map, though the leaks are not expected to alter this week's Netflix extended look.
