Release Date and Early-Access Approach
Cfx.re confirmed the early-access launch date at the end of its latest development update. The team acknowledged that issues may surface and stated it plans to work closely with the community to refine the platform.
Installer and Cache Improvements
The new installer gives users control over the installation path, including the option to place cached server files on a separate drive. It also adds support for desktop and Start Menu shortcuts plus uninstall and repair functions. Resource cache handling now automatically deletes files that servers no longer provide, with further cleanup tools planned for later.
Technical Upgrades Across the Platform
The update covers improvements to networking, scripting runtimes, server-side performance, and developer tools. These changes form the core of the enhanced version after more than a year of work.
