On June 24 the studio replied directly to a fan inquiry on X about whether the game would be physical or a code in a box. The reply stated that the physical version will include a disc in the box. The post received tens of thousands of likes along with thousands of saves and reshares.
GTA 6 Physical Edition Details
Physical preorders of GTA 6 contain only a download code rather than a disc. Buyers can preload the game on November 12 ahead of the November 19 release. Several retailers have declined to stock the edition.
