Shooting these statues on PS2 could crash your framerate — so Rockstar made them indestructible forever.

In the PlayStation 2 version of GTA: San Andreas, the statues inside The Atrium (except the masturbating one) can be destroyed by gunshots, but the particle effects cause an extreme framerate drop. This performance issue is why Rockstar made the statues indestructible in all later releases, including PC.
